My Velvet Dream Obsession

I’m telling you guys that the 90s style trends are coming back! Sometimes I wish some of the trends will never ever come back! However, there is one trend I’m super obsessed with is the “velvet on velvet” style, especially from head to toe! If you ladies are crazy about velvet like me then the “Velvet on velvet” look is for you. I’m pretty sure you ladies are beginning to see this new fad spreading around on social media and also in major shopping department stores. This style is also perfect to wear for the holidays occasions! And the holidays seasons is around the corner!

Here is my own “velvet on velvet” inspirations:

I bought this matching black velvet top and black velvet pants at Nordstrom Rack. I thought it would be cool to wear the top and bottom together because if you ladies look the pictures my outfit looks like a jumpsuit. Did I mentioned my pants has pockets?!?!  I also wore a red blazer to add a pop of color to my wardrobe. By the way this outfit was so comfy!! 🙂

This outfit include the same velvet pants, however I just switch out my top and blazer. Instead I wore a navy lace camisole and a grey blazer. I also change my shoes game too! I wore my Marc Fisher silver tassel loafer.

3 quick tips of complete your whole look:

1.)  Add accessories to your outfit

2.) Makeup tip: Add a bold lip color on your lips and to enhance the eyes you can add a classic wing eyeliner.

Lastly 3.) let your hair down!! And remember to be fierce ladies!!!

Top 7 styles of Summer 2017

summer pic

Omg it is already August?!?! I can’t believe we are half way through the summer.  I would like to share my top seven style of this summer. Like I mentioned before I don’t like to commit to one specific  style…With my personality have many. I love bold colors, wild prints, and pretty much anything whimsical. I like to wear anything that makes me feel confident and comfortable.

Top 7 styles of this summer

1.)

IMG_1543

I found this one of kind lilac backless mini dress on sale for $17.99 at Urban Outfitters!!

IMG_1538

This is a perfect summer dress. This is a transitional piece for almost any occasions. I can wear this during the day or night. I can wear this dress at a summer cookout/ BBQ or to a club for a girls night outing. My favorite part of this dress is the detailed back. When I wore this summer I felt sexy and confident. I also bought the same dress in black!

2.)

I began to wear more jumpsuits this summer. Like the one I wore above, I love the vibrant colors and the dreamy floral print.  Plus I felt so tall when I wore this jumpsuit! I found this lovely garment at Marshalls.

3.)

One of my favorite style for this summer is off the shoulder tops!! I’ve been going to the gym all summer long!  Now I can show off my hard work! I love exposing my shoulders and collar bones.

This blouse is by Socialite Clothing. I found this piece of gem at Nordstrom Rack during the Clear the Rack sale! I bought it for $12!! I love the dramatic ruffles 🙂

These off the shoulder tops are to die for! So freaking cute! I can wear these tops with anything. I could pair up my top with a pair of pants,a pair of shorts, or even a skirt.

4.)
This is one of my favorite style of this summer. I wore this outfit last week. It was a gloomy and chilly day. Ande definitely not a typical summer weather in Connecticut.

So I wore this lovely dusty pink Free People sweater to keep me warm and a pair of AG black skinny to add more drama to my look. Whole outfit under $60.

I added a light delicate blue bralette since the back of the sweater has a deep cut.

5.)

I love this style. This a-line dress cold shoulder dress cut to show a flash of shoulder and also elongate my legs. This jewel-neck shift dress makes a chic and simple addition to your closet.

All you need to do is accessories to complete your look. I usually like to add a bold color to my accessories.

6.)
I wore this outfit to work. I found my floral print skater skirt at Marshalls for $10. I found my red blouse at Nordstrom rack for $15. I tried to matched my hat with a pair of cognac booties.

7.)

I wore this outfit to a friend’s BBQ. I always like wearing stripes patterned shorts. I tried to matched my flowy top with my black and white shorts. This is a simple, but very chic look! This whole outfit is under $20.

Floral Print Jumpsuit

I never thought I could ever pull off wearing a jumpsuit. I’m only 5 feet tall! Like I said I never thought I could wear jumpsuits because I was afraid I was too short to wear these attires. Until now….Thank you for cropped jumpsuits!!! The lengths fits perfectly on me! (Yes I know I can shorten the pants length to make them cropped but I’m too lazy…) haha

(Style by me)

I found this gorgeous floral print jumpsuit at Marshalls. I love the flower patterns and the bright pink accent on this garment! It’s too cute!! Guess how much I bought them for?!?!!! This cost only $19.99!!! I want more of these jumpsuits! I’m  telling you guys Marshalls always have major deals, including on designers!!!  I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be my last trip to Marshall for this summer. It’s only the beginning. I can tell you all that I received many compliments when I  wore this jumpsuit to work.

My DIY Unicorn Ballerina Beanie Baby Costume

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

img_0092

img_0096

I would like to share my Halloween costume with everyone. This year was a unicorn ballerina beanie baby. I may have a slight obsession with unicorn and I believe I was a unicorn in my past life. I thought it would be  creative to make my own beanie baby costume since I couldn’t find a beanie baby costume anywhere.

img_0103

I had so much fun putting together my costume. The unicorn onesie cost  $20!  I went to three different Target stores to find a unicorn onesie that fits my body and size!  The rainbow tutu cost $10 at Claire’s. I felt adding a rainbow tutu will add more creature to my costume plus I looked super girly and cute!  I couldn’t the beanie baby logo sign anywhere. So I found a bright red folder laying around my house and created my own logo.

img_0107

I wore my costume to a house party last Friday. Everyone loved my costume! They thought it was brilliant and creative. I had a blast wearing my costume and showing off to the world on Social Media.

My boyfriend was at Jedi for Halloween and I was his unicorn…
