Pearls & Plaids "Sip and Shop"Blogger Event 

 

I decided to join the Connecticut Bloggers Collective group {CTbloggerbabes}. This group gives me the opportunity to meet and network with various bloggers and talents throughout Connecticut.  Last Sunday I was fortunate to be invited  to the “Sip and Shop” blogger event, hosted by Pearls and Plaid. This was my first time attending to this type of networking events  specifically for bloggers. I had an amazing time. I  didn’t want to leave. Pearls and Plaid is a small boutique in Old Saybrooke, CT. The boutique was super cute and cozy. I spend way too much money!! But don’t you worry I will come back soon!

I had a chance to talk to the shop owner, Caroline. She was so friendly and sweet. Caroline and I had a conversation about wedding planning because I mentioned to her that my sister is getting marry next year. She gave me a few pointers about certain vendors and wedding planning services.

 I also met a lot of  inspiring fashion bloggers at the event. I exchanged my business cards with some of the ladies I met at the party and I am looking forward to connecting with them soon. I loved sharing my blogging experiences with the ladies I met. Some of the ladies shared a couple blogging tips to me that I thought was beneficial for me. I can’t wait for the next event!
