My "Sport Luxe" Lookbook
Can I ask how many of my “phashionistas” fans or viewers are sport lovers? Now who is a baseball fan? Well then…Have you ever thought about mixing sporting attires with high fashion? I know many people are uninspired when it comes to creating outfits using one of the baseball hats from Fanatics, but it can be the perfect accessory for a “sports luxe” look! Now you don’t have to be a baseball fan, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy wearing game day attire! I have to say “Sport Luxe” is currently one of my favorite fashion trends! I love the clashing between urban and street wear with high fashion. It’s brilliant! I’m surprise this trend has been around for so many years and now everyone seems to be aware of this new fad. From fashion designers to celebrities, everyone seems to embrace this new statement! There is something this style. The concept is looking effortless but chic at the same time, while mixing baseball caps, casual clothing and high heels. How daring is that!
Well, I thought it would be a great idea to do a challenge using a Major League Baseball Hat from Fanatics . Now, what is Fanatics? Fanatics is the leading online retailer for everything sports, specializing in apparel of course! They have it all! From jerseys to bows, clothing apparels, hats to helmets. Whatever you ask, they got it! I have to say Fanatics has one of the BEST collections of baseball caps. So, I decide to create a “lookbook” of 5 game days styles & looks. This lookbook is a “Sports Luxe” or “sport chic” inspired!
Here are my five game days styles & looks:
Game Day #1
This first look is for an aspiring, talented hip hop dancer, who is trying to make a name for herself in the performing arts, dance & entertainment industries. This girl has an dance addition for a hip hop music video. This girl looks fabulous & confident! She is wearing black & grey jogger pants, this cool-looking black biker jacket, a white jersey tank top, a pair of blue & black strappy heels, a blue & black clutch & lastly a red New Era Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim On-Field Game Fitted Performance Hat, which is available to be purchase. Now this girl will looks fierce for addition! She will most definitely make the cut!
Game Day #2
This second look can be a typical Friday night or Saturday night outfit. Perfect attire for a girls night out or for a party night! This style is inspired by a girl living in LA or New York City. You can tell by these items that this girl have a bold and bright personality. She is unique and daring…And is NEVER afraid to stand out from her group of friends. She is wearing either a black faux leather skirt or a black leather fringe skirt, an over-sized printed jersey, & lastly a red New Era Philadelphia Phillies Classic Game Flex Hat, which is available to be purchase! She is accessorize from head to toes. She has two selections for shoes. I know in fact that guys will fall for her and will be mesmerism by her!
Game Day #3
This third look is inspired by this silly fashion rule “you can’t wear white after Labor Day.” Now that’s crazy! I don’t follow that rule! First of all, the color white is one of the most beautiful and chic colors. White matches every different skin tones and is so easy to wear. So I decided to create an all-white outfit for a girl who isn’t afraid to wear all-white. I also used the accent of navy blue and red to accessorize…Making the whole outfit stand out! This brave girl has two options of wearing a pair of white laced skinny jeans or a pair of white high-rise destructed skinniest jeans. This girl is wearing a basic off-white crew neck sweater, all white Converse Chuck Taylor & a New Era Cleveland Indians Authentic Collection Sport Knit beanie, which is available to be purchase! Yes, this girl looks so basic and clean, but she is so chic right now!
Game Day #4
This fourth look is my own personal style. Now this my style. I love wearing boyfriend jeans and a cute oversize jersey, muscle tee top while pairing up with a pair of studded orange pumps. I love the concept of the “tomboy” image and “super girly girl” image. I just usually love wearing beanies with my outfits. I would wear this particular navy blue & white New Era New York Yankees “The Coach Cuffed” Beanie, which is available to be purchase! I think this outfit and look is perfect for any girl who wants to step out from their shell and be daring for once.
Game Day #5
This last look is also inspired by a girl living in New York, LA, or even outside the U.S. I’ve seen many celebrities wear this particular style all of the time from Rihanna to Selena Gomez. Usually a girl wears a pair of baggy jeans or boyfriend jeans, Graphic Mesh Jersey (see through), white Converse Chuck Taylor, a black bralette, & a beanie. I recommend this particular black & yellow Pittsburgh Pirates New Era Snowburst Cuffed Hat beanie. I have to say I’m obsessed with this look. I love how edgy this outfit looks. I like how this look shows a little bit of skin because you can see the bralette when wearing the mesh jersey!
